The choral music on this site is a contribution to the search for a style of chant that will carry seekers forward along the Christian path in the 21st century. The works here combine two sources of inspiration: musically they spring from the short ostinato chants associated with the Taizé community in France; lyrically they draw on the wisdom teachings of the American Trappist monk Fr. Thomas Keating and his school. For this reason they are bound up with, and arose out of, the practice of Centering Prayer. I offer these pieces to my companions on that particular journey and to all who aspire to divine wisdom.
Listen and enjoy; sing and be transformed.
